Chrysotiel asbest en mesothelioom

Amerikaanse onderzoekers vonden een relatie tussen blootstelling aan chrysotiel asbest en het risico op mesothelioom bij oud-arbeiders van een asbesttextielfabriek in North Carolina die tussen 1950 en 1973 werkzaam waren geweest. Chrysotiel of wit asbest is de minst gevaarlijke asbestsoort.
